Norman Oliver Waterman Children: References: Notes:  Norman was given to the Charles and Emma Waterman family, (cousins?) to raise, because his mother, Delia Albro was very sick and not expected to live. On 2 December, 1942, in Rochester, he filed papers to officially change his last name to "Waterman" effective 7 March, 1942. The order was in the February 5, 1942 Rochester Daily Record, page 2. Norman Waterman was a United States Army veteran, serving in WW2. He loved working with wood. He grew up in Gerry, NY on the family farm. After he finished school he used his talent as a carpenter doing remodeling. Norm, his wife and children moved back to Rochester in the early 60's when he accepted a job as a cabinet maker for Axelrod Wood Products. He also was very involved with all the finishing wood work in the mall area of Midtown Plaza, in Rochester. He was buried in Falls Cemetery in Greece, NY. with full Military Honors, on 27 February, 2009.
