I think there is a new disease going around. It's called Trumpitis
We suffered through 8 long years with the other guy's ineptness, and hunkered down and tried to make the best of it. After all, he was the president. Oh there were things that went for the most part unanswered. Birth record etc. But, for the most part people were pretty darn quiet.
Maybe we were afraid the people who elected him (It wasn't me) would riot and burn down their neighborhoods or something.
Now, there is a man up there who seems to really want to do something for this country, and some people have him under a microscope. Anything, nay, EVERYTHING he does is wrong!
I will say, he needs to stop with the tweets. However, I have seen so many outright false statements and stuff taken out of context that he supposedly said, it makes me ill.
Finally, there is someone holding other countrys accountable. NO more does our president bow to other rulers!
The thumb sucking pansies in this country need to buck up and grow up. There are NO safe places! To quote John Wayne, "Life is tough, it's even tougher when you're STUPID!"
Now, they are coming out with a new tax bill. Granted, our tax system is a mess, but, doing what they are doing scares the dickens out of me. Look at the health care bill we have to suffer under. Who in their right mind would fine someone who can't afford healthcare insurance for not having healthcare insurance! Last year I lost $70 a month, because my SSI benefit went up $10, but my health insurance went up $80! This year I actually gained, because my health insurance actually went down! Heart be still! So now I'm back to where I was several years ago.
I'm sort of an advocate of single payer system. Put everyone under Medicare. Get the greedy insurance companys out of the picture. Of course, that will never happen. There are too many politicians in the insurance company's pockets. And with the inept way politicians handle everything else, I hate to think of them trying to handle healthcare too.
Ok, I feel better now. Ya'll have a great day, and stay safe.
Jim
