DuBois, Charles W.

Charles W. DuBois, 50, of 215 Crossman St., died
Thursday (Dec. 8, 2005) in the Erie Veterans Administration
Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1955, in Jamestown, a
son of the late Elmer M. DuBois and the late Alberta
J. Bascom Wilson DuBois Wilcox.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Germany.
Prior to retiring due to disability, he had been a
self-employed carpenter. Charlie loved eagles, hunting, fishing, and boating.
Always one who was fond of children, he would do anything for anyone. Surviving are three
brothers: Edward W. (MaryAnne) Peterson of Bemus Point, Mike L. (Bonnie) Wilson of Watts
Flats, and Robert J. (Barb) DuBois of Corry; three sisters: Hazel Elaine (Bob) Samuelson
of Lakewood, Rosemary S. DuBois of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Cheryl D. DuBois of Jamestown;
an aunt, Betty Bascom of Blockville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, who died in 1958, and his mother, who died in 1993, he
was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenneth Wilson in 1994, and David L. Wilson in
2002; and an infant sister, Ruth Annette Wilson in 1933.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home.
The Rev. Charles Colton, pastor of Panama Baptist Church, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the service
